The working efficiency of high frequency grinders:

The commutator motor used in typical power tools applies power to the rotor, so many parts such as the armature, commutator, and carbon brushes are required. Air tools are also constructed of many parts, so commutator and air grinders often breakdown and maintenance entail a lot of work. In contrast, high frequency grinders use a squirrel-cage induction motor with an extremely simple construction, so there are few breakdowns and maintenance is easy. And as you can see in the following table, the working efficiency of high frequency grinders increases dramatically along with the increase in speed.
